Pick an island

Every session starts on the map: Bubble Bay, Candy Canyon, Jungle Jam and more. Each level is a short mission with its own germs to chase.

10 levels and a boss on every island

Brush the germs away

Your child puts on their favorite hat and glasses, then chases germs from one part of the mouth to the next, by following the on-screen directions.

2 full minutes, every part of the mouth

Stars, streaks and prizes

Every brush earns stars, coins and a prize from the Prize Park, and every day they brush grows their streak.

2 brushes a day, morning and evening

Brushing that feels like playtime.

No nagging, no timers to argue with. The brushing itself is the game, and finally it’s one that kids and parents both love.

Chase the germs!

The germs sit on a cartoon mouth on screen and only pop while your child is brushing. On boss levels, a big germ guards one spot and won’t leave until it’s brushed.

Progress you can see

The streak shows how many days in a row your child has brushed, with a tick for morning and one for night. Every 7 days of brushing earns a shield that saves it on a missed day.

Prizes to win

Every brush earns coins for hats, glasses and extra islands, plus a free game in the Prize Park.

A treasure on every island

Each island hides a treasure, like a golden duck or a pink pearl. Brush the right spot long enough and it appears.

Say cheese, in costume

After a brush, your child can snap a photo in costume, framed with that day’s stars.

From Bubble Bay to Sparkle Summit.

Brush your way from a bubble bath and a candy canyon to a moon base and a dragon’s keep. Every island has ten levels, a treasure to find and a boss to beat.

Built by a parent who needed it at home.

Each level is one two-minute brush, so the game only moves forward when your child brushes.

Camera video never leaves the phone

The front camera follows your child’s face and brushing hand while they brush. The video isn’t recorded or sent anywhere, and there’s no account to make.

Ad-free, with grown-up locks

No advertising and no third-party analytics. Purchases go through Apple and ask for your Face ID or password, and adding or changing a child sits behind a grown-ups' question.

A parents' area that helps

See each child's week, morning and evening, and which parts of the mouth get missed most, so you know where to help.

Our promise to your kids

If a trial or subscription ends, your child still finishes the island they're on. Stars, treasures and costumes are theirs to keep.

One family, every iPhone

Add every child, each with their own hero and progress. With Germ Chase Plus, progress syncs between parents' iPhones through your own iCloud, and one plan covers the whole family with Family Sharing.

Germ Chase is free to download and start playing. With Germ Chase Plus, your child keeps going: the next islands open as they finish each one.

Questions parents ask

Which iPhones does it work on?

Any iPhone that runs iOS 18 or later. Germ Chase uses the front camera to follow your child's face and toothbrush while they brush.

Does the camera record my child?

No. The camera picture is processed live on the iPhone to find the face, mouth and toothbrush, and is never uploaded or stored. Photo booth pictures are only taken when your child presses the button, and stay in the app unless you save them.

What age is it for?

Kids who are learning to brush on their own, roughly from preschool to early primary school. Younger children enjoy it with a grown-up brushing alongside.

Does it work with an electric toothbrush?

Yes. Choose manual or electric for each child, and Germ Chase adjusts what it looks for.

Can several children use one iPhone?

Yes. Each child gets their own hero, island and progress, and you switch between them with a swipe on the home screen.

What's free, and what is Germ Chase Plus?

Germ Chase is free to download and start playing, and some islands open with coins kids earn by brushing. Germ Chase Plus is optional, as a subscription or a one-time purchase: the next islands keep opening as your child finishes each one, progress syncs between parents’ iPhones, and one purchase covers the whole family with Family Sharing.

How do I cancel or restore a purchase?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, open Settings (the gear on the home screen), tap Germ Chase Plus, then Restore purchases.
